Ten Day Photo Journal - Thursday

Walking through the Gardens

I can never get enough of our walks together as a family...
They are a much needed break from school and responsibility.

Every time we take Carter out on a walk, I can't help but sing one of my favorite Primary songs to myself. If was one of my mom's favorite, and it's always been one of mine...

"I often go walking in meadows of clover,

And I gather armfuls of blossoms of blue.
I gather the blossoms the whole meadow over;
Dear mother, all flowers remind me of you.

O mother, I give you my love with each flower
To give forth sweet fragrance a whole lifetime through;
For if I love blossoms and meadows and walking,
I learn how to love them, dear mother, from you."

Ten Day Photo Journal - Wednesday

To rain or not to rain?

We took a different way home on our way back from the ridiculously expensive trip to the eye doctor. It was a gorgeous day! The skies looked ominous, but it never did end up raining.....I LOVE DAYS LIKE THIS!!

Ten Day Photo Journal - Tuesday

SEEING DOUBLE

I think I need glasses.

My photo today ended up showing exactly how I feel. I go through phases during the day that I honestly see like this, and being my stubborn self, I've managed to put off going to the eye doctor up until now. I don't think I can avoid it this time....... For the past three weeks or so, I've been really dizzy any time I see movement - bad thing with a ten month old who is getting into EVERYTHING. It's getting gradually worse every day. I'm now to the point where it's hard to walk or drive because of the migraines and nausea that the movement provokes.

And this one...well, I just like it cause it shows a pretty view of my second child who we have yet to name...No wonder some people feel a little intimidated in front of this thing! haha....

Ten Day Photo Journal - Monday

Ode to 'Craftiness'
"The greatness of a craft consists firstly in how it brings comradeship to men."
-Antoine de Saint-Exupery
I hosted a 'flower party' on Sunday evening. Steven took Carter and they escaped to watch LOTR with Ben. There were seven of us girls, and I haven't had such a wonderful evening in a long time. I obviously needed a girls night! I couldn't stop making the flowers, and I jumped out of bed this morning and ran downstairs and made another gloriously CRAFTY mess. :) Carter only tried to eat about three buttons, so we're not doing too bad! :P

Ten Day Photo Journal - Sunday

Carter has a great visit with Amma, Papa Dan, and Auntie Nat over Memorial Day weekend! Although he hardly ever gets to see them, he sure warms up quickly!
